Admission Guidelines:

For Returning Singaporeans

 

Returning Singaporeans (RS) may seek admission to Woodgrove Secondary School (WGS) at anytime of the year. RS are however, encouraged to seek admission in the first half of the year, as the school year is from January to November.

 

RS seeking admission to WGS will be required to sit for a school-based assessment test to determine for instance, the academic streams eg Express. Normal (Academic), Normal (Technical) most appropriate for them.

 

The student will be examined in the following subjects:

English Language

Mathematics

 

Admission to WGS would be subjected to the school's assessment and availability of vacancy

 

 

Foreign students

 

Foreign  students may seek admission to Woodgrove Secondary School (WGS) preferably by Term One of the academic year after taking part in the centralised testing and placement exercise (AEIS) or the QT at MOE.

 

Foreign students can make enquiries  via telephone or email  about the vacancies available.

  

Admission to WGS would be subjected to the assessment and availability of vacancy.

 

The Foreign student will then complete an application form (available at WGS or the Customer Service Centre at Ministry Of Education) for a student pass. The school will endorse the application.

Types of document

A) Student's Documents

To show citizenship status:

  • Valid passport /Certificate of identity
  • Birth Certificate
  • Latest School Report Book and Education Certificates
  • Dependent's pass and the valid main work pass to which the dependent pass is linked
  • Valid Passports or Singapore NRICs / Re-entry Permits

B) Both Parents' Documents

  • Valid Passports or Singapore NRICs / Re-entry Permits

 

c) Guardian's Documents

  • Singapore NRIC / Re-entry Permit

 

 

The student will submit the application form, together with the said documents  to the Singapore Immigration and Registration at 10 Kallang Road.

 

The student will report to the school once the student pass is issued.
